Terms & Conditions
Before any commitment is made by one of our team members, Paws n Puddles will always arrange a meet and greet to swap friendly faces, discuss any specific requirements and say hello to your furry friend.
A meet and greet will give us the chance to confirm that, you (owner) and us (Paws n Puddles team) are both happy with all the arrangements set in place.
Dog walking
Dogs should be sociable when joining our group adventure walks. If owners feel their dog would benefit one to one walks, this can easily be arranged.
ALL dogs will be walked on a lead unless the owner has given consent / allowing his / her dog off the lead. Paws n Puddles are more than happy to provide disposable poo bags.
All our dogs are on a trial period for - no leads, once we are satisfied that recall with your dog is in place we will then go ahead walking him / her off a lead.
The owner is responsible for any veterinary bills occurred on Paws n Puddles adventure walks - Dog walks (very unlikely but possible). All details of registered vets must be supplied to us on our meet and greet (completed on Pet Profile) or before any service is completed by us.
In an emergency Paws n Puddles will make every attempt to contact the owner as soon as possible and any other emergency contacts we feel are appropriate (Registered or nearest Vets / Dog Warden).
All dogs must be microchipped WITH a collar and name tag providing owners details.
Dogs will be walked by Paws n Puddles team in all types of weather conditions, we will only cut the
walk short if the weather is severe for the safety - e.g. temperature drop or thunderstorms or if we think any of the dogs in our cares safety is at risk.
We only allow 4 dogs max per walker.
We do not accept group walk bookings for female dogs in season but we will always try our best to accommodate you - one to one walking.
Pet sitting & pop ins
For Paws n Puddles pet sitting services - all food, bowls, bedding and anything else that the pet may need whilst the owner is absent should be provided by the owner.
In the unlikely event Paws n Puddles may need to purchase anything for your pet, the owner will be notified in advance and responsible for payment on their return.
CAT FLAPS:- Paws n Puddles can't be held responsible for loss, injury or any accidents of pets that have access to an open cat flap. We advise owners that are concerned or on edge, keep the cat flap shut until their return. In an event (unlikely but possible) of a pet going missing, owners will be notified straight away. Registered vets will also be notified. Paws n Puddles will continue to visit and try everything we can in hope for a positive outcome.
Keys & Paperwork
All house keys are securely stored away - separate from any paperwork and personal details.
If in the unlikely event we (Paws n Puddles) were to misplace your keys, you will be notified as soon as possible. We (Paws n Puddles) are happy to pay a replacement fee.
NO personal details will be passed on to third parties whatsoever.
Doggy daycare
We ask all owners to make sure they have been and picked up dogs by 5.30pm latest as we have other commitments and our own pooches that need attending to. Unless times are agreed otherwise, charges will occur (£10.00) late fee. We ask owners to notify us as soon as possible for delays on pick up and drop off times.
Payment
New clients - An initial payment of 50% of the full price is to be paid at our meet and greet, before any service is carried out (non refundable on cancellations) - the other half of the payment is to be paid on completion of our service. Full payment can also be paid upfront (half is non refundable) Prices vary for each client and service. Invoice's are always offered before and/or after payment has been received by Paws n Puddles.
Cancellation
Paws n Puddles DO NOT charge a cancellation fee for our meet and greet but will NOT except customers that arrange time slots for a meet and greet and not turn up - 2 cancellations maximum.
Doggy daycare - We ask all owners to notify us for cancellations latest - by the evening before the day booked in. Fee charges WILL occur (£15.00) if cancellation are made on the morning of the arranged day.
Dog walking - We ask all owners to notify us for cancellations latest - by the evening before the day booked in. Fee charges WILL occur (£8.00) if cancellation are made on the morning of the arranged day.
